Fr Ignatius Yeruva
Fr Ignatius Yeruva, MoC, is a priest of the Missionaries of Compassion. Originally from India, he was ordained in 2000 and served for seven years in the Diocese of Venice, Florida, including as a pastoral assistant with Catholic Charities, before coming to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine as parochial vicar. His greatest joy is celebrating Holy Mass and the sacraments, and his motto is “To do everything for the greater glory of God.”
Since June 24, 1981, six young people in a village in Herzegovina have reported daily apparitions of Our Lady. Whatever the Church ultimately determines, what is beyond dispute is what has grown there: millions of pilgrims, countless confessions, and a rhythm of prayer that has not stopped in over forty years.
Our groups stay in the guest house of the visionary Mirjana Soldo and her husband Marko, with the licensed local guide Miki Musa. Days are unhurried: morning Mass in English, the climbs of Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain for those who wish, the evening rosary and Mass at St James, and Adoration in the open air.
You will walk a good deal, some of it over rough stone. You will also be fed, looked after, and given room to pray.

Arrive in Croatia and transfer by private, air-conditioned bus to the holy village and the guest home of Mirjana and Marko Soldo, with local tour guide Miki Musa.

- Climbs to Mt. Podbrdo (Apparition Hill) and Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain)
- Visit to Comunità Cenacolo
- Visit to Mother's Village Orphanage
- Excursion to Surmanci, which houses the image of Divine Mercy that was instrumental in the miracle that brought about the canonization of St Faustina
- Talks by priests (when available) and visionaries (when possible)
- Eucharistic Adoration as you've never experienced before
- Visit the Risen Christ statue and the grave of Fr Slavko Barbaric, OFM
