Our group leader, Debbie Womack, is a Secular Franciscan and has led groups of pilgrims to Medjugorje since 1989, even bringing relief during the war years. Medjugorje is home to her in so many ways. In 1986, she experienced her own unique call that set her on fire with love for Our Lady. Since then, besides leading these pilgrimages, and by the Grace of God, she has organized Marian Conferences featuring the Medjugorje visionaries, priests and religious, opened a Catholic bookstore in Louisville, KY, helped run a Catholic radio station, arranged Marian talks and retreats, spreads true devotion through Total Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and maintains a world-visited Medjugorje Facebook site. She has formed Marian Movement of Priests Cenacles and prayer groups in numerous cities and has traveled extensively as a missionary of Mary, even to the outreaches of Far Eastern Russia. Debbie brings her own inspired spiritual insights to Medjugorje and Our Lady’s messages for us.

After leaving Louisville, Debbie worked and studied at Franciscan University of Steubenville before moving to St Augustine, FL, where she is the owner of The Blue Mantle, a Catholic shop next to Mission Nombre de Dios and the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche. The Blue Mantle is a Fruit of Medjugorje, the fruit of pilgrimage. Debbie started Triumph Pilgrimages after receiving numerous signs in Medjugorje.
